[SOCK BUNNIES]

Whenever I think about being adopted, I hardly think about my foster family for I can't remember them for I was only with them for a year. I don't remember them. However they gave me a few things, some baby photographs, my name Jessica Jane (JJ) and a sock bunny. I'm told that I always had it as a child, and I drooled all over it!

This is a close-up shots of details in the face of my beloved sock rabbit that my foster family made for me. I felt if I examine it like this it would reveal some secret or truth I didn't know about the kind of people they were.

In 2006 I developed this idea into a residency I did at the Chinese Arts Centre and contunie to develop the project. See:
